The Russian ambassador is a tricky one. On the surface, he is trying to make it look as if he is just happy to be cooperating with the Americans, but in reality, they are looking for their own way to turn the battle in their favor. They DO need the American's help, but it is obvious that he has his own intentions. He mentions how they no longer spy on America and other nations, when it is obvious that they still do, and they are definitely not the trustworthy allies we would like to have. With that said, we have little choice but to ally with them, and try to keep an eye on them.
